Which kind of concrete contractor fits my project?
Start with the job, rather than the size of the company. A broken curb, worn walkway or isolated slab repair can suit a maintenance contractor. Widespread spalling, corroded reinforcement, waterproofing failure or an engineered rehabilitation calls for a restoration scope with the right specialist input. Compare a contractor’s relevant projects before asking for a price.
What makes two concrete-repair quotations comparable?
Give both companies the same photos, locations and approximate quantities. Ask each to name the preparation, repair material, finish, access allowance and return-to-use assumptions. Published curing examples differ by system and conditions, so a generic number of hours is a poor substitute for the proposed method and site schedule.
How should I compare repair warranties?
Ask for the terms that apply to the exact repair or coating being quoted: what is covered, for how long, who responds, and what exclusions or maintenance conditions apply. A company may publish different terms for different services. Keep the written warranty with the product and completion records.
