Sweeping addresses loose material; scrubbing cleans suitable floor surfaces with an agreed method. Existing coatings, adhered deposits and material-handling arrangements affect the scope.

Scope and preparation

Match floor cleaning to the surface and soil

Identify aisles, storage areas, loading zones and other floors to be cleaned. Describe the floor material and existing finish. Photographs should show loose debris, accumulated dirt and any areas needing targeted treatment.

The work should distinguish sweeping, scrubbing and separate stain or deposit treatment. Share product restrictions for coated floors. Cleaning does not replace concrete repairs or restore a failed coating by itself.

If new warehouse lines are planned, identify them before cleaning is arranged so surface preparation and the later marking work can be coordinated.

Plan the work

Open enough floor area for the agreed method

Show equipment routes, turning space, clearances and storage that must move. Explain shift changes, deliveries and pedestrian traffic. Identify areas that can close together and routes that remain active.

Confirm water access where needed, collection and disposal arrangements, and return-to-use requirements. A recurring plan should define the floor areas, visit frequency and preparation expected from the property contact.

Questions about the service

What affects a warehouse floor-cleaning quote?

Floor area, soil, surface requirements, equipment access and preparation affect the work. Stock movement, phased closures and targeted treatment can change the scope.

Is sweeping the same as scrubbing?

Sweeping removes loose material. Scrubbing uses a cleaning process suited to the floor and deposits. The quote should identify which work is included.

Will all tire marks or stains disappear?

The deposit, floor and earlier treatment affect results. Identify targeted marks so City Wide can review methods and finish limitations.

Can cleaning be planned around warehouse operations?

Describe shifts, deliveries, equipment routes and available closure areas. Access and phasing need agreement for the actual site and proposed cleaning method.
